Report on Buffett Indicator (1st Quarter, 2024)

New GDP data of the US has been published, recently. US nominal GDP grew by 1.2% from the 4th quarter of 2023, but the Wilshire 5000 index rose by 12% for the same period. As a result, the Buffett Indicator (the right-most column of the table below) increased by 0.128. The indicator reached the highest level since the 1st quarter of 2022. Now, the indicator may flush a yellow signal about the stock markets.
